  • Last letter from Interim Principal Kathy Jolley

Friday, April 6, will be my last day at McDonald International School as your interim principal. Michelle Goldberg will be returning to work during spring break. I feel honored to have been part of your school community these past months. During my time here I observed all classrooms, worked with students and staff, and met many of you personally. McDonald International is an excellent school with a very supportive parent community, strong leadership, dedicated teachers and staff, and wonderful students.
  • A Message From the Principal's Office

At McDonald, we are preparing for the upcoming Smarter Balanced spring assessments for students in grades 3-5. These are annual state-mandated assessments that measure how well students are meeting the College and Career Readiness Standards taught in our classrooms in math, reading and writing. The online assessments help us view student growth and determine which students may need more support or more challenge. Students in grades 5 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).More information on the state Smarter Balanced assessments is available here.
