Ms. Pollema has asked me to share the following, Please join us to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of SUMMER by attending the McDonald International Spring concert. • A Message From the Principal's Office

At McDonald, we are preparing for the upcoming Smarter Balanced spring assessments for students in grades 3-5. These are annual state-mandated assessments that measure how well students are meeting the College and Career Readiness Standards taught in our classrooms in math, reading and writing. The online assessments help us view student growth and determine which students may need more support or more challenge. Students in grades 5 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).More information on the state Smarter Balanced assessments is available here.
