    Welcome to McDonald International Library!

Our library is a friendly place where our community is inspired and challenged to think critically and read widely to become informed, compassionate, global citizens.

The McDonald library contains over 12,000 book in 3 languages to tantalize our students and support our dual language curriculum. Our books offer the opportunity for students to foster global understanding by introducing readers to a range of cultural stories, worldviews, and the histories of people and places.

As well as aiming to inspire a passion for life-long reading and thinking, through our curriculum, students learn information literacy. Lessons are planned with sensitivity to age, interests, and topics which parallel classroom content and curriculum standards.

Classes visit the library BI-WEEKLY with the opportunity to check out books on the alternative week. Additionally, students may access the library during other times of the day. Parents also are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of the ample resources and check out materials for their personal and family use.
