    Annual Option School Fair

The Seattle School District is pleased to announce the annual Admissions Fair for Option Schools will be held on January 8, 2018 (Saturday) in the Mercer International Middle School cafeteria from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Both Option Schools and district departments will be available to answer questions and share upcoming changes to boundaries, openings of new schools, programs, and future developments as well as helping families register their students online. For registration purposes, please have required documentation to provide our Admission Specialists, such as: proof of address, student immunization records, and student's birth certificate and/or passport (grades K-1 only for date of birth verification). Homeless students do not need to provide required documents. For more information on required documents necessary for enrollment click here and you will find it under Registration Process and Forms. See you there!

    Online Enrollment Registration

The Seattle Public Schools Admissions Center is excited to announce our new online enrollment registration system for new students, resulting in reduced waiting time and paperwork for our families! The online registration is available starting Monday, Aug. 7. Click this link to learn more about and begin registration.

    School Choice Inquiries and Appeals

Disputes involving school choice are handled through Admissions inquiry process. The inquiry form is used for families to request that Admissions review their student’s School Choice form if there is a concern that it was not properly processed. The inquiry form is not used to dispute an assignment as a result of Open Enrollment - those disputes will be handled through the transfer appeal process starting June 1. Click this link to learn more about assignment inquiries and appeals.

Please send all inquiry forms to admissions@seattleschools.org.
