Every day SPS students are offered a nutritionally balanced breakfast and lunch!

Entrees for lunch are $3.50 for the first one and $3 for each extra. Fruit, vegetables, and milk are included with the first entree.

What’s on the menu at school?

Monday
Breakfast:
Lunch:

Tuesday
Breakfast: Bagels and cream cheese
Lunch: Hot meal or sunbutter and jelly sandwich

Wednesday
Breakfast: Pastry or cereal
Lunch: Bean and cheese burrito or turkey and cheese on a hoagie bun

Thursday
Breakfast: Egg and cheese breakfast sandwich or cereal
Lunch: Burger or bagel and cream cheese

Friday
Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Hot cheese sandwich or Yogurt lunch box

Reminder: Fruit and milk served with breakfast. Fruit, vegetables, and milk served with lunch.

Student Meals at School

Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to those students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Additionally, Seattle Public Schools has several schools that will offer free meals (breakfast and lunch) for all students. See a list of schools that will offer free meals for all students.

Free Meals for Students

Your child may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. In all Seattle schools, students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals receive meals at no cost.

You must reapply every year. Qualification is based on household income.

Students who qualify receive additional benefits including reduced fees for the following programs.

  • Event Fees
  • Field Trips
  • Advanced Placement Tests
  • Running Start Books
  • Associated Student Body (ASB) Fees
  • Pre-College Exams (PSAT/SAT/ACT)
  • College Application Fees
